Difference in purchasing the CD and Online?

Hi,
My question is what is the difference between buy the CD and buying the online version?
and does the online version offer multiple users on different laptops?

For the program itself, they should be identical although I’ve only downloaded the last three versions. There is also the possibility that a cd version may not be the most recent iteration (v.5.2) and you may end up downloading a new full version anyway.

I don’t know if there are any extras on the cd.
