Please Help.

I am attempting to create a quadruped skeleton for a dog. I tried taking a dog skeleton from Quidam and importing it to Motion Builder to create animation, but every attempt I either lose the skeleton or the skeleton gets all jumbled up. I am exporting in FBX format. Has anyone else had similar problems with importing FBX quadruped skeletons?

I have also heard from my professor that there is a way to take existing motion capture data and convert it into a skeleton in Motion Builder 2012. Can anyone point me in the general direction of this feature, because I found some free Mocap online that I could utilize?

Thanks for any help you can offer.

if its optical data use the actor asset, just like you would with a biped.

but pose him like the dog
hope that helps
