So I recently began teaching myself about the Maya program but I have an issue with the tutorials for the 2012 version.  It appears as though the tutorial was not updated along with the 2012 Maya program and its menu changes.  Can anyone tell me where the Markings Menu is on the 2012 edition?

do you mean the marking menu editor?
pretty sures its been in the same place all along Window -> Settings and preferences -> marking menu editor

This is exactly what it says in the tutorial and this is what I need help with.

*3.In the front view, right-click and select Control Vertex from the marking menu.
The CVs for the curve appear.*

Ok never mind everyone and thanks for the reply...i was stuck on stupid with tunnel vision...found it and am currently kicking my own butt.  Thanks again everyone.
