anyone using the Multi Texture plugin from Bercon Maps, can you tell me how to get it working, It says it has been installed in my pluggin manager but has a (null) in the descriptions column and is nowhere to be scene in my material editor, the pluggin was for Max 2010, would this be why? incompatible?

Are you using mental ray as the renderer? Those maps are incompatible with mr, try changing to scanline or another renderer.

I hadnt even got to the stage of the renderer, but I tried also to assign the scanline renderer but still no sign of the Multi Texture in the material editor. I would think maybe you would be able to use with mental ray as it can be used with V-ray, refer to the link attached http://www.ronenbekerman.com/making-of-3d-render-gh-house-bertrand-benoit/ thanks for the advice anyway.

Vray and mental ray are not the same thing.
Read the small print:-
Supported renderers
Scanline, finalRender, VRay and Brazil. mental ray is NOT supported, it would take me too much time to do the conversion. Maps are open source so if somebody really really wants the maps on mental ray, they can be ported by anybody.

check the option in material editor to show all maps (show unsuported) then it will appear :)
