BonusTools 2012 - Paint Geometry Tool

Posted by STLR, 3 February 2012 6:00 pm

Well I’m kinda overdue for a post this month. So I thought I would create a quick demo of a tool that I get asked about all the time. The Paint Geometry tool, which is part of BonusTools, has been around for years. It’s a pretty neat little tool but frankly, it’s really not very intuitive and there is very little documentation about how to use it. The UI could stand a bit of a face lift, but once you get the hang of it, it can be quite useful.  For me the easiest way to learn how to use a tool is to see it in action. So I recorded a short “how to” movie to explain it.

nickzucc - good question... I have not tried to do this with multiple source objects. I suppose it might be possible if the script were customized but I'd need to dig into deeper to figure that out. I'll add that to my list of things to investigate
