Xsi Modtool V6

Hi
i downloaded XSI MODTOOL V6 today from softimage, i have installed it and everything went fine but when i run it the splash screen comes up then behind it the program opens stays there for a few secoudns and then closes, there is no error message or anything it just closes.
any help?

If you see part of the XSI user interface, but not the four OpenGL viewports, then the problem is quite likely the display driver for your card.

Hmmm i the driver is uptodate and the card has all the nessacary features. I have also looked at the startup problems to no avail. After a reinstall i was thinking about downloading a earilier verision, would this stand more chance of running, and would it still be able to export into cryengine 2? thanks
