I've downloaded the file... it's okay... quite heavy.
I don't understand how their product work.. is it a standalone thing and you pay them and they give a simulated file back?
Or is that a plugin that you can put to work with XSI?

i think that they are doing the simulation for you and then they export the sim in xsi... maybe someday the software that they use will be made available for purchase (just like massive software)

Damn, now I want to blow up some of my models. Any one know if XSI has a plug-in some what similar to that?

No.
You can only manually shatter (using "shatter" from motionblur.it) parts of your mesh and do a RBD-simulation.. but as of now there is no automated way to do impact/fracture-type of effects in xsi with commercially available plugins.

closest thing i think is blastcode for maya (and for what i heard was an attempt to write an xsi version)

They just put up a FAQ page on their site that has a lot of info about their technology

massive is available :)
topic: this is nice, i would be happy if this goes public
omg: it took me 20 minutes to load the scene, 5 minutes to maximize xsi and more then 500MB of RAM was used. It has over 6k of objects :|
eventualy i had to kill application process

It's quite managable for me...what are your system specs?
