XSI ModTool mode missing!

I have noticed on the Layout tutorial at the XSI MOD TOOL home page that theres suppost to be a modes tab. I just download It yesterday and I don't see the modes tab anywere. Its kind of hard following the tutorials when I'm not on the modtool mode. Is this something that changed on the new version? Thanks:)

Alright guys, found the problem. The update ModTools addon wasn't Installed. When I went to update, that was the last update It needed. I acctually stopped the update last time because I thought the software was freezing up. It turns out the progress bar wasnt updating with the download.
