Biped-guid In Production

HELLO,im a xsi junkie and i was asking to my self some questions about xsi in the industry.
do you find the xsi fast setup tools production ready tool,can i animate a la pixar with them,use them in my short film...
have ever used theses tools and how do you find them.

xsi is a toolbox that lets you assemble tools that in result let you animate like pixar.. just... we know... its really hard to be that good :) but theoretically... why not :)

the biped rig itself definitely is only a starting point and feels a bit outdated. its not very comfortable to animate, has no s&s and is little automated. but its a very robust and safe starting point.

im too far away from the industry for knowing what is good or not,can you tell or show me what is 2008 rig,what the biped lack...

S&S is a short for squash and stretch, which allows you to shorten or length a bone, taking volume into consideration.

..yes of course the rig has so many lacks for fantasy animating.. ..
and a big one is : still no sign of "cat" :wink:
