We don't a lot of HD work at my office, it creeps in every once in a while. What I am
wondering is, in general do most charge a higher price for it considering the obvious challenges it brings. I am at odds with my sales person and would just like others opinions on it, obviously more and more will be asking for it.

I think it'd cost more in render time... so I think charging more is justified, I dunno though, I'm not in the industry.

Higher res models, more details in textures, more data to move around/store... HD costs more to produce, should be billed for more too.

sure thing. 4 times the render times, higher rez textures, a LOT more server space... it doesnt come for free.

we dont charge 4 times more but maybe 25% more compared to pal rez.
