where did my dialogs go?

i was playing around with ultimapper and i must have enabled some keyboard shortcut that prevents the initial dialogs for a new object and modelling functions like bevel and ultimapper from being displayed. i can go and root them back out from the explorer. but it's not helping

does anyone know how to fix this issue?

Go here to fix it:
File->Preferences->Interaction->Property Editors/Views
and check the box beside:
Popup Property Editors on Node Creation

thanks, i got halfway there but got frightened off by the wall of text preferences brought up. it works fine now.
