Hiya Fellas,

I have a quite simple kitchen scene. There issues that I came across.
I have two windows that light comes through. They share the same material and one is the copy of the other.
There are two area lights (one in each) and one is a copy of the other (same settings).
Now the problem (see render) one window generates significant grain/noise (red) while the other doesn't (blue). As I said, both have same material (architectual; default settings) and same "poly flow".
The other issue is the noise in the green area.
I used GI and FG + physical sun and sky + two are lights
FG= 600 rays;30 points; 0,01 max radius
GI= 600 Accuracy; 10 photon serch radious; 1 photon merge factor 1mil photons.
Materials are based on Architectual with minor color changes cause I was only prelighting the scene with basic colors.

It seems that it was just a sampling contrast in AA. I had to lower it down to almost zero value in order to reduce the noise.

HI,
I would suggest that this noise artifact is possibly due to low area light samples. What value are you using for the area light samples?
I think you should try increasing this value, before you decrease the aa threshold value to ridiculously low levels.

25 is the number and it's pretty decent.
I'll show the end result soon.
