copy and paste vertex weights?

Hi Ho-

im looking for a copy/paste function for vertex weights... i know you can save out presets for the whole mesh, but what i need is a simple copy weight info from one vertex, and paste the same information to another vertex. i would have thought it would be in the weight editor panel...

any clues?

Search for "copy single envelope weight" in the Softimage Net View, you will find is a very good script that does just what you want.
