Hey guys,

We've set up a Softimage Youtube Channel (http://www.youtube.com/softimagetech), and we'd like to add everything and anything related to XSI/Softimage on that channel.

If you guys know of any videos on Youtube that were made with XSI, or were XSI related.... ads, movies, animations, etc. please post here, or email Diana Shah (diana_shah@softimage.com) to have it added.

Thanks!!

Leo

i can't be sure that asking on this forum can be the best way to fact check the usage of xsi on those films. i doubt any of the sony imageworks productions used xsi.

i can say that "the mist" used XSI for rendering. best person to contact about that would be someone at cafefx (santa maria office) for specifics.

No worries, I won't use any of those clips if they haven't used XSI I'm just asking around. If you know any of them has used XSI that would be great if not that's ok too, whatever helps!

also how xsi was used on a project would probably help, not taking credit away from other studios using other software on the same production.

Hi Steven -

We are in touch with Chris to use any info from Cafe in any rights-oriented promotion, as well as double checking what agreements we have in place.

We are trying to collect and gather what's already out there and signed off on. Eveyone's feedback has been invaluable, and we appreciate the efforts by all!

(and it will help immensely during the showreel collection time!) :)

Thanks for looking out for us & our clients!
