That's me with my first wip on the forum, going around looking for images, I was struck by this:

the special illumination and a vague hint of pirate that has convinced me to reproduce entirely in 3D. To see how far I can go with photorealism; this is the first object, one of the many chairs that compose the scene.

At first I couldn't believe this was rendered. The scene is very lifelike and realistic. I like the use of lighting and texture. I imagine the render time was rather high on this one. Definitely looks like a captains cabin :)

@Iraito: Keep on it. I am anxoius to see the final result.

Stay creative

Taros thanks.

Here's a little up, I still shaping many objects and details, must still very texturing; improve the yield of shader and of the illumination, in practice there is a lot of work be done.but the beginning look like good, that you think.

Hey that's promising..
I really like chair/table material.. the specularity looks real..
I dont comment about the other parts, I know its because you are still working on that...

Thanks to all of you for the compliments.

I am always adding more details, and improving the yield of the illumination, I still have a lot of work to be done on texturing, and I am not even a half of workhttp://img170.imageshack.us/img170/5332/argjg7.gif, but I think the whole project is coming on well, here's another up:

Looks great. Like a newly built pirate ship. Perhaps it could use some more dirt and junk to feel more like home.

Here's another up, I changed some texture and added objects, the next step is to create windows with a marine background.

PS: I was a bit busy and have had little time to update, but now I think I put that commitment to finish the project

That is really sweet, but I don't get why the wood is sooo glossy, and whats with the little circles in the wood everywhere (on the back wall)

The wood on the right side is a bit too obviously repeated, and the things inbetween the decritive wood work on the back look a little floaty,

this is coming a long quite nicely. good job so far!

maybe some glow on the windows?...

Wow!...I like your pirate room!...the wood is really nice...maybe repetitive at some place...but nice!!...
Only one little detail looks a bit strange to me...how come cannonballs can stay still and piled on a moving pirate boat?...it's only a little detail in your great image!!!...keep posting updates!

Well, that was embarrassing!
Regardless, my comments still apply to your last render! Very good progress you're showing, and in quite speedy time. Gorgeous.

your textures are looking pretty good, keep it up.

the only thing I would change is that the specular is a little too much...
Even if it looks good everywhere, it seems to me that would be better if you had more opaque areas here and there.
