View Full Version : Is there any rig dynamics in Mod Tool?

Hello,

When I try to create a rig from quadruped guide in Mod Tool 6, with the default quadruped rig options, I get this error when it tries to build the tail:

Invalid procedure call or argument - [line 529 in C:\Softimage\XSI_6_Mod_Tool\Application\DSScripts\ CharacterRigging\makeQuadruped.js]

Disabling the tail creation from the rig building dialog helps in making the rig (without a tail).

And when I try creating a tail from a curve, I get 'Invaild argument specified.' and the resulting tail has no dynamics.

Is this normal for Mod Tool?

P.S. On a side note, there seems to be one small bug (?) that's not so important though - the quadruped hind legs don't seem to have correct (or any) IK, unless I activate the femur roll subdivision in the rig creation dialog. The same type of dog leg is in the dog leg biped rig, and I tried it with the default options (without roll subdivision) and it works correctly there.
