In this lesson we will learn how to spice up a boring animation with squash and stretch.

It may seem like adding squashing and stretching to an animation is unimportant, but they are a principle of animation. Squash and stretch tell us about how heavy and object is, and what it’s made of. For example, a ball made of concrete will have no squashing or stretching, while a water balloon will squash and stretch quite a bit. Notice how much life is given to our animation in the video by just adding squash and stretch.

nice, simple tutorial...one question--how *does* one turn on 'maintain volume' for that sphere anyway?

I took a quick look at the video and I notice that he spends most of his time on the layer panel, I imagine he right clicked at some point to select volume scaling.
