In this lesson we will learn how to access and adjust the various components of polygon models.
Moving around the subcomponents of polygon models gives you an unmatched amount of control over your model. Being comfortable in subcomponent mode is essential – a large amount of polygon modeling is moving vertices, edges, and faces. Try transforming various components to create unique shapes from primitive meshes!
Topics covered in this lesson:
Component selection modes for mesh components
Shortcuts to access polygon components
Rectangular selection and Raycast selectionDirect Link to Tutorial: http://www.digitaltutors.com/digital_tutors/video.php?v=597
