Best way to go from XSI to maya on mac OSX

Yeah... I just realized that softimage import on maya is only on the windows version...

I'd like to be able to import my scene with my materials to maya for school, I don't care about much else... help?

Can't you import it into a maya running under windows and save a maya file from that to open on your osx maya?
