I just bought an A5 wide intuos 3. I installed it and played with Zbrush. I then tried loading XSI and it keeps crashing. I am running XSI 5.11. I have tried restarting and repair XSI setup. XSI loads if I uninstall the Wacom drivers. I have downloaded all Wacom Intuos 3 drivers and installed from fresh restarts yet XSI still crashes.

Any ideas how to get around this? I see people are using Wacoms with XSI.

Thanks

Mick

I have a Wacom Intuos3. It has worked well except one time.

The problem I had was with selecting components in XSI (I'm using 6.5) When I would select components in raycast mode random items would get selected as I passed the pointer over the object.

Resetting the wacom setting fixed the problem.

Try renaming your XSI prefs to have XSI generate new ones from default. Have you tried reinstalling XSI? What version of the OS are you using? Does the license server run fine?

Thanks, I will try renaming the prefs when i get home. I havent uninstalled XSI and reinstalled if thats what you mean, I have done a repair on it. I will try that if I cant get other things to work.

Im using Windows XP 32.

I am only using Foundation 5.11. I dont think this has a license server, I think it only comes with the Ess and Adv versions. If it does I couldnt find it.
