Let us be the first to say that XSI and the Valve Source Engine are a match made in heaven! The Valve Source exporters that Softimage provides make it very easy to take assets from XSI to the game engine. The XSI Mod Tool is an excellent and free (yes, you heard that correctly, FREE) application that works side by side with the Source Engine to make game modding and development that much easier. It has a been a real pleasure to work with and Noesis Interactive will continue to create tutorials and training DVDs relating to both XSI and video game topics. Softimage deserves a big thanks for creating both this support community as well as the awesome tools we use and love! So....Thanks a bunch!

Is Noesis still in business? Your website's forum is very quiet. I tried registering there but I haven't received my activation email from the forum mod.
At the conclusion of the Character Design and Integration DVD, you tease an upcoming video that features advanced character creation subjects (not animation). Did you abandon this product?

Yes, Noesis Interactive is definitely still in business and is currently working on several new projects!
However, our forums have kind of stagnated due to the overwhelming amount of spam they receive. Thankfully, we are in the process of overhauling our website and look forward to having a active community and forums in the near future. We'll be sure to keep everyone updated regarding this!
Although we have released several other DVDs since "Character Design and Integration with XSI", advanced character design has not yet been one of them. This training module is still in production and does not currently have a release date.
Thanks for you interest and rest assured that we are working as hard as we can in order to keep providing new training modules!

That's good to hear. So to whom do I write to get forum activation? I emailed support and didn't get a response.

Send an email to "benm@noesisinteractive.com" and let me know the user name you tried to register with. It would also be helpful if you could tell me the date you tried to register. Sorry it is such an inconvenience right now and we're definitely working on getting it back into good working order!
If anyone else has had problems registering for the Noesis Interactive forums please follow the above instructions.
