I read somewhere that it supports COLLADA which makes it ModTool compatible.
Happy game building in PhyreEngine.

Their website say the following:
"The engine is free for any licensed PS3 developer"
Last I saw the license costs about 25k (probably per title)

Can you post the link ? This was suposely a fresh anouncement at gdc ...
This is all I found on the GDC site:

Here's the unofficial Phyre Engine site.
http://www.phyreengine.com/
Got a little more inof from one of the mods on the site.
It turns out the engine will in fact be free for all however...
It will be free, but If you want to publish a game, and recieve profits, you will have to licence. But If you want to do a game for PC, you are pretty free to do it. BASSICALLY FREE for anyone that want to download it and do things with it. although everything suggestions...lets see how it evolves.
PS3 development for less than $1200.
But this is on PS3 debug kits. So assume that it will be completely free use for you/modders/however that don't want to earn/charge money from he's game.
But still there's still a lack of clarification.
Well just have to wait and see as more info becomes available.
