1. Interviews and Features on Home page like in xsibase.
2. Listed last 30 post on side of Home page, again, like xsibase...

I somewhat agree with #2. Quick access to new content is always good, but search -> new posts (or search -> today's posts) isn't far and do we want to clutter the front page?

#1 should be left to sites who already do this well. I don't see Softimage|Net as being the place for a fluff piece such as an interview with an artist or a news feed of current events in CG. I see this site as a support tool, communications channel to the community and Soft, and official repository (not implying official Soft support) of XSI tools and content. #1 would be diluting this.
