Hi,
Bit of a newbie question this but i've had a look and can't find anything obvious (not to say there isn't something obvious i've missed)
Is there an animated sweep feature within XSI?
I want to model a number of curves and then have a mesh grow up the curves. Whilst growing it needs to twist around and i'd like to be able to animate it's progress along a curve. It's a sort of abstract tree growing.
In maya i would use animated sweep and in houdini there is something similar whereby i can get a ramp to animate the mesh profile along the curve.
What sort of approaches would i take in XSI?
I'd really appreciate some pointers as im evaluating it and have a limited amount of time!
thanks in advance
paul
