Hi,
I´ve been wanting/wondering to ask some of these questions for months and add some suggestions (some for years hehehe) but theres always something in the midle, today I decided to go ahead and ask them, so here it goes :)
1:
- I have a Character Set that includes all of my Character CTRLS so its easier for me to make Keys on everything at the same time, now having this C.S. selected on the Character Key Sets (Set Current) and opening a Dope Sheet and or the FCurve Editor it shows it, I then lock the PPGs but if I change the Key Mode from Character Set to Key Marked Parameters the Dope Sheet/FCurve Editor doesn't reflect the Locked Status and changes to the annoying message:
- There are no Objects Selected.
What The... doesn't this kinda defeats the purpose on the Locking PPG?

Most of the times selecting the FCurve Editor from the Shape PPG to go refine the FCurves of a given Slider Shape I get the Message:
- All Items Hidden Due to a Filter...
Humm... ok... what Filter?
This happens even on a Fresh XSI Instalation, so I dont have a Clue on what I could had done that changed or made any Selection Filters... The only way I get to have the Fcurve show is to Enable Disable randomly Properties, because I could never figure out wich settings to check/uncheck, I simply click on randomly on those bazilion options until it shows something on the PPG... I know I know brute force... but never understood what Options should be enabled/disabled specially when I didnt do anything :p
Is it possible to have at least XSI tell us:
- All Items Hidden Due to a "THIS" Filter... instead of leaving us "in the dark"? :p

Moving Character Key Sets Keys on the Timeline is impossible right now... the only way I have is to Copy/Paste them from the "old" location to a new location and then Delete the old Keys location, also sometimes Copying Character Key Sets on the Dope Sheet acts very wierd, like I want to Copy the Keys on Frame 10 and it Selects and Copys Frame 1 to 10 or just 1 and 10, never noticed this behaviour on regular Keys, only on Character Key Sets wich forces me to use the Copy/Paste workaround.

Shape Manager Window is very slow to use unless we put it on Bounding Box mode, its almost either use the Shape Manager in Bounding Box mode or Hidde the Objects in the Viewport so that XSI wont try to update twice on the Windows making it very slow, can we see some sort of improvment on this in XSI 7? :)

Why does XSI a lot (and I mean a LOT) of times refuses to record a Capture (Start Capture)?
Sometimes it happens after 10 Captures, others after I made one minutes ago, other times as the first Capture of the day... Yes I always close the FlipBook after viewing a Capture so a conflict of FlipBooks isnt the Problem as far as I know... but I cant understand why it happens everyday on all versions of XSI I ever used since V4 and on diferent Workstations...
I have to Close and re-Open XSI to make a Capture, because when XSI decides it wont Capture anything its the only way to force him to allow me to do that, changing Codecs and/or AVI to QT or vice versa wont help either, being it a 64 or 32 Bits OS is the same.
This one really puzzles me a lot because not only is very annoying its also a valuable waste of time specially on bigger scenes.

Pressing CTRL+Right Arrow the Timeline SLider jumps from Keyframe to Keyframe, nice but why doesnt it go around back to frame 1 as it gets to the End of the
Timeline? Instead it forces us to CTRL+Up Arrow to go to frame 1 again or go the CTRL+Left Arrow to go the oposite way.
It would be nicier IMO to have it behave like a Loop, if it reaches the End of the Timeline then jump back to the Begining and carry on :)

Hability to Color Codes Keyframes would be sweeeeetttt, this ways it would be easier to distinguish Major Key Poses from Breakdowns not only on the Timeline but also on the DopeSheet when 200 Keys get confusing to know what are the Key Poses from the In Betweens or Breakdowns.
Having a way to Select the Keys and apply diferent Colors like we apply Wire Colors on Items would be very very sweet indeed.
