Hi there,
Sorry if the whole "can ya do this or that" is annoying but I couldn't help it :) I was just thinking, would it be possible to make a bit of a feather system with ICE? I know it cannot generate geometry as such but maybe you could make a particle system or something with instanced geometry and control the position size and orientation with weight or tangecy maps or something?
I tried doing something like this with XSI hair but I found there wasn't enough control or feedback.

There was an example of one system that was scripted put on XSIblog. I'm wishing that either I can figure out how to get it going in ICE...or (fingers crossed) someone will beat us all to it AND share it.

Half of the compounds I've seen demonstrated so far have me thinking that some of the work is already done for us...

I loved that example. Yeah, I'm pretty confident there will be something equal to that using ICE within days of its release.

Yeah, I saw that on XSI blog but it was a bit beyond me. Looked cool though.
I'm hanging for this release!
