Hi, I am trying to work out an animation pipeline for an independent game, we would like to use fbx as it is the easiest to implement code wise.

I can't find a away to export animation so that it converts clips into fbx's takes.

Does anyone know how to do this?

Does anyone have a successful fbx animation pipeline?

What do u mean ? Convert animation from MB to takes or from XSI to FBX.

In character animation, I think u cant transfer animation from rig to MB rig.
The reason is , MB has his own shadow rig what controls the bones. Bones are not animated. You animate the shadow rig, then u plot animation (what means u transfer animation from shadow rig to bones).

I'm not sure what you are talking about.

Exporting with animation in the timeline works perfectly fine with my rig, it's just exporting clips into takes that doesn't work.

Constraints, expressions, animation mixer and etc are internal software functions what cant be translated in other softwares 100% same if even could. I mean every software use different language. I would suggest to plot animation everytime you want to transfer it to other app.
