Ok, well i started messing around with this tonight and it got a lot further than i thought it would! Anyway this will hopefully turn into an animation project after i finish modeling it.

I saw this fly last week and it was really impressive. So just to start is the fuselage and engines.

Update time! Got a bit more done today. Not far off starting the Uvs and texturing.

Well delays, delays on this one! Ive had what you could say an eventfull summer, changing jobs and one thing and another so this project kind of had to get shelved.

But back on it now with my shiney new XSI 7 and a new workstation for home. Ive finished the modelling and now have all but rigged the aircraft ready for animation. Ive put together a little video of what ive done, i don't claim to be in any form a rigging expert (ive just got manny's DVD to help me along!)

hello chaps, I finaly got around to texturing the tiltrotor.:smile: next step is to do some stills before starting some animations.

Well i just banged out a qiuck render of the aircraft on a background. Nothing fancy but i think it came out well. :balloon:

The only thing that bugs me is that the wheels wouldn't be down at that height :wink:

Looks great though. I can't wait to see this animated either.

model looks great,great texturing, maybe 2 small things to improve, with this skyenvironment,
the cockpit windows are a little bit too orange, also the red glow on the enginelight
is a little too strong, but I´m not an Belll expert, maybe everything is correct...
