I have Crosswalk 2.6 and the latest update of Quidam. And I have problem that the bones dont show up, the show up as Nulls.
Here are the thread that explains it:

--My Question----
I have Quidam latest update.
I have exported a figur that I have not made any changes on from Quidam as a Collada fil. I have then imorted it into XSI with Crosswalk. But bones and texture dont show up in XSI 6.02...
When I render in XSI the body is transparent.
Any help?

---nSided feedback---
Some tests have been made with XSI 6.02 and Crosswalk 2.06 (Collada
importer). Meshes and UVs are correctly imported, as well as the
skeleton and the skin weights. The only drawbacks for now are :
- Bones are importing as Nulls, not bones
- Textures are not imported (you have to relink them manually)

We are investigating about that, but it seems that it comes from the
Collada importer in XSI, just because the same collada files are
imported correctly in Maya, 3DS MAX (with the plugins from Feeling
Software) and even in Blender!

With our custom "QDM" import in C4D, Maya and 3DS MAX, the workflow is
"smoother", but the Collada export is still a good solution for XSI
users even if there are some adjustments to do in XSI.

Moreover COLLADA is a free and opened format. Thus there are several
implementations which have been done to import this file format.

Unfortunately, a lot of these implementations support only partly
some COLLADA features.

N-SIDED doesn’t give support for these COLLADA importers.

N-SIDED recommend you to reach the Company from which
you get the target program or the Importer.

Best regards,
The N-SIDED team.

I don't know much about crosswalk. but I think this happens for all Crosswalk importers. XSI never draw bones it always place as nulls.
I guess this is because it has the possibility of import a rig that it can't understand, so it is handled in the importing process as an unknown thing.
Then when you export it back to the other software, it brings the rig connections back as nothing had happened, just including the modifications you did in XSI.

But try if Qiudam can export other things too, like FBX.. dotXSI.. etc.

Again I'm just guessing, as I'm not a heavy user of crosswalk.
