Red Star is a 3D animation studio based in Sheffield, UK www.redstar3D.com (http://www.redstar3d.com/)
We are currently seeking 3D artists and animators to expand our team on an upcoming stereoscopic 3D special venue film. These will initially be contract positions, but have excellent opportunities to be made permanent.
All of our artists are expected to be all-rounders, capable of taking on different facets of 3D production. Our pipeline is built around LightWave 3D and SoftImage XSI; but we are looking for talented artists of any software who can bring creative flair to our productions.
Animators
+ Excellent character animation skills
+ Modelling skills
+ Able to layout scenes and contribute to rigging
3D Artists
+ Lighting and rendering skills
+ Rigging and dynamics skills
+ Modelling and texturing skills
Freelance Modellers
+ Hard body and character modelling skills
+ Texturing and surfacing skills
+ Lightwave 3D skills preferred
+ Can work on-site in Sheffield or remotely
