Problem with compileing .mdl

I dragged the qc file into the studiomodel.exe programme, a box apears for half a second then disappears, what is wrong?

Figured I'd close this thread.. Answer was in your other thread, but I'll post here.
Problem you're probably experiencing is it doesn't know which game to compile for.

I recommend using GUIStudioMDL

With it, you can select the game you want to compile for.
