Hi there,
Just wondering how I could go about skinning a low ploy mesh to have that deform a high poly mesh? I tried using shrinkwrap but got some weird effects...
Thanks
Pete

You should be interested on GATOR. It's a XSI feature that transfers UV, Shapes, Weight between meshes.

Basic approach to deform one mesh based in another mesh is use Cage Deform.

That said, you should use some other technique with one of those smarter things like GATOR or the Binder addon that Serguei pointed you to.
