Hi all
In the texture editor, I select some uv's to hide, press "h" and then if I just maximize or minimize the viewport, it the hidden uv's come back. They also unhide for a lot of other reasons.
Grrrrr :shaun:

You're advising me to hide polygons in the 3d view right?

They do, did you logged this to Softimage? support@softimage.com
They also unhide for a lot of other reasons.
What other reasons? It doesn't happen here.
However if you don't "lock" your view, and change your selection of components or the object, the texture editor will refresh.
Also check your auto-sync selection status, etc..

They unhide because unlike polygons there's no hidden temporary cluster mechanism to persist visibility.
On forceful view syncs things go back to square 1
Not really a bug as much as bad design of the feature (might very well have been slipped in at the last minute while something better is worked out for all I know).
If you have an issue with it and you have reliable repro steps, both of which you do, log it with softimage's support. If nobody ever logs issues or asks for stuff how are they supposed to know what the userbase would like? ;)
