Select Connected Geometry

Hi,
Is there anything similar to select UV Island for 3d geometry? Well like Extend Selection but pressed infinite times, to select as much as possible, just one piece of geometry leaving everything disconnected in the model unselected.

switch to subcomponent selection than turn on Polygon Island filter (than you can select adjacent edge/points)
