That's incredibly generous of them! Kudos to Pixel Corps! :-)

Hey, maybe this could be the beginning of a trend, perhaps Gnomon and Digital-Tutors would like to pony up ;-)

If I'd only seen this sooner... I've spent hundreds of dollars on training DVD's of variable quality. Well, the quality has been OK, but I hate the "do this, than to that" and so on kinda training style.

These videos are visual demonstrations of functionality that's well documented in textual form in the help docs and so, but being able to watch the concepts first, then read up on the different topics of interest in detail is so much better than to have only project based training series, where you have to replicate the instructor as the chapters progresses to complete a project you don't even like...

To much like dictation, and it gets frustrating and boring.

With Pixel Corps training, I can watch the subject I need there and then as I make my own projects, read up on it in the docs, and move along. Creative, fast and accurate.

I actually ended up joining Pixel Corps for a year for 25$ a month. Lots of benefits including awesome tutorials on many different subjects, including licenses to use Modo 302 (and I use Modo for lots of modeling tasks), and many other software packages.

I think the tutorials alone justifies 25$/month, as they add new ones now and then.

Being a former subscriber to Maya E-Magazine for the same amount, I only got some tutorials.

This is membership, not membershit.
