Star on path leaving trail of stars...

This is my first attempt at particles... any tips?

I have a star which follows a curvy path... it just want it to leave a trail of like stars that diminish and disappear...

add your star geom to a group, then intance the group (the star) in th einstancing options of the ptype.

then key frame the particle size from the size u want to the smaller version of it and set it to animate at the particle age.

hope this make sense.
