Everytime I export a character into ut3 the bip'd hands, gun, feet and root dont make it over. So when the character is in the game the arms and legs are screwy except for the head and torso.
I've tried many different options during the actorx export, none have worked. I even followed the fundi3d tutorial and his does the same thing when ingame.
When can we expect a update to actorx? The last update was at 1/18/08 almost 5 months ago and its still in beta.

It is hard to tell with out more information or a scene.

I was using a mesh that I made and following the fundi3d tutorial, then I switched to the carl scene itself to see if the problem is still there and it is.
In xsi for the carl scene you have the mesh,skeleton and bips. When you export to the ut3 engine you lose the bips everytime. Inturn the characters arms/lowerlegs are not animated. The root bips arent exporting etheir so the character will not ride any vehicle correctly, nor the hoverboard.
On the hoverboard the character floats on thier back 3 feet above it. Weapons are rooted to the crotch region and even with correctly set yaw/roll the character is postioned oddly,running sideways, floating and a complete nightmare ingame.
This happens with any mesh character I export to ut3 not just the carl tutorial scene. Even trying different settings doesnt fix anything.
It may seem everything is fine when you get a mesh ingame but switch to 3rd person view and you'll see what I'm saying is right.

I wanted to let you know I am looking into fundi3d tutorial and the rig.
I will let you know my findings.
Currently I am using custom rig and custom animation this maybe the reason I have not come across your issue.
But will work through this modding process and see if I can find anything.

Any luck so far finding the problem?
I'm now thinking its the Ik's not importing right. Ethier way I've givin up on the custom character deal as I've been at this for months now trying to get it to work.
Anyways, I've brought to attention the actorx problem. Hope you get it fixed, good bye xsi.
Where is this tutorial? I want to take a look at it maybe i can help. My guess is that your forgot to assign these guys as deformers. That's y is not exporting. I would have to test the carl rig and see how it works.
