No arguements from me... these DVDs are great...
shows stuff you won't really find on other Rigging tutorials...
if you get the one with the scripting stuff... it is invaluable...
The Rigg he shows you how to build is really very usable and very stable and has alot of really complex Rigging ideas injected into...
Great stuff for learning the craft...

I was using the Auto-rig Addon in XSI 6.0, but recently I tried running it in XSI 6.02 and now it gives errors and won't complete. VISTA SP1 2Gig RAM. The errors are varied.

Hi buddies!!

I use since yesterday Vista ultimate with xsi 6.5 adv., and the autorigg is working great.
I think by u would help a system refresh, or something.

My colleges using it in 6.02 and working great.

Hope you can find out something.

My problem is:

I have locked the DVDs on my workstation in the studio
Windows xp x64 op system, and because of the quicktime i cant play the movies. I see pictures and i can rollover the timeline, but no play os other.

Somebody can help, or i just request another code for my home machine??

heyyy

Thanks for the nice words guys.

Here's how to run the 3DQUAKERS DVD executables in Vista 64-bit

Right-click on the executable's icon (or it's shortcut icon) and select "Properties".
In the properties dialog box, select the "Compatibility" tab.
Check the "Run this program in compatability mode for:" box.
Select "Windows XP (Service Pack 2)" from the drop-down list of Windows operating systems and hit "OK".

BTW, requesting a key for another machine is no problem at all.

The addon works fine on any windows configuration.

The point of the DVD is to teach new ways that accelerate the rigging process considerably, and make the rig parts reusable.
Upcoming 3DQUAKERS DVDs will take the rigging process many steps further, and explore new plugin-building techniques that hopefully will change the way riggers/TDs work in XSI.
Reusability is the key!
