HELP!!!! ----XSI 6.5 Script error

Hi everyone i am a new member as well as a new user of XSI i have installed xsi trial for the 5th time (after several attempts) and i keep getting the same script error as soon as it loads


ERROR : 2006 - Unexpected failure. - [line 23 in C:\Softimage\XSI_6.5\Application\Properties\Transf ormUVs.js]

I would really appreciate if anyone has a solution to this problem to let me know so that i can fix it as it is really annoying.


My laptop has

2GB RAM
2.16 GHZ dual core
ATI RADEON X1400 256mb
Windows Vista 32 bit

And there are no other errors in the history log?

Can you check the plugin in the Plugin Manager?


Open the Plug-in Manager (File > Plug-in Manager)
On the Tree tab, expand Factory Root > Plugins > TransformUVsPlugin
Does it show the TransformUVs_siOnKeyDownEvent as loaded?


If so, try running this JScript in the Script Editor (Alt+4):
Application.EventInfos("TransformUVs_siOnKeyDownEvent").Mute = in_bMute;

No in the error log that is all it shows and in the plugin manager the plugin has a red triangle next to it!!! thank you very mucthh for your time and effort!

Can someone send me a copy of that plugin from the xsi folder

C:\Softimage\XSI_6.5\Application\Properties

and send it to me maybe it will fix the problem!!!

I'm getting the 'has errors and could not be loaded' error with the XNA_level_editor.py,
the RA_measuretools.py and the Roadkill.py, yes I have Python Action script as my default.
Using Mod Tool.

I have solved the problem after formating my laptop something must have been corrupted on it causing that sort of weird error! Thanks everyone for trying to help me!
